Frank Langford, a former Cpl Photographer, died at home, leaving a son and daughter.
I met Frank at Bruggen in 1961 – he had been transferred from Brixmis in Berlin when the wall went up. We became friends and remained so till the end.
He also served in Cyprus and Singapore, with a couple of stretches at Wyton. After demob, he became a police photographer, first in Derbyshire and then Nottingham.
His wife Janet, who died a couple of years ago, was my wife’s school friend, and they married shortly after us.
He was one of the Good Guys.
RIP Frank
