Just received the very sad news that Jim Carrel died very peacefully in the hospice in the North East at around 4am this morning, 05 March 2023.
We went up to see him last week and caught him in a fairly lucid moment, remembering times we had in Germany. Thoughts are with wife Bell, sons Ian and Andy and all the family. No details of funeral arrangements at the moment. Please share this post far and wide…..Jim was a popular member of our RAF Photographers family.
