Taken in 1972. APO 35 were “recruited” to do a mock parade so the Photo Gs could practice taking photos of parades, etc., I’m the tall one with glasses being “chatted” to.
Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the two guys “inspecting” us so if you can put a name to the faces it would be much appreciated.

Again, Flt Sgt Geddes in shirtsleeves.he was at JHQ Rheindahlen by 1975 as Warrant Officer.

Frank Geddes and Felix Leathers were the double act who ran 2 MFPU at Gutersloh back in the day with Hunters. Bill Sturgeon was their clerk. When Bill got posted to 2 MUF from the clutch he missed his train and turned up a day late. Frank had Bill’s arrival date as a week earlier and bawled him out for being late, so Bill’s explanation received the response: “For a f####ing WEEK?” Which pretty much set the tone for Bill’s stint at Gut.
