Flt. Lt. Campbell J. Bryan

From the memorial website

My father Flt. Lt. Campbell J. Bryan sadly passed away on Christmas Day, 2022. After 27yrs service in the RAF, his last posting was at JSOP RAF Cosford. I think it was about 1973/74 when he left the RAF. Just wondering if anyone remembers him?

I remember arriving at the school from Laarbruch and I reported to the WO’s office and said that I had come to see Flt Lt. Campbell Bryan – I got a funny look off the WO, it was only later that I realised that Campbell was his first name and not a double barrelled surname – He was a very nice man with a great reputation RIP

  3. Flt Lt Campbell Bryan was my boss, I was an SAC, on 8 MFPU supporting 4 Squadron Hunters at Gutersloh. He was an excellent, well liked boss. He also ran the kegelbahn (German bowling alley) and bar in the airmen’s mess cellar. Never a shortage of volunteers for the NAAFI run to restock the bar with Amstel and Heineken. I have uploaded some photographs of us on detachment to Aalborg in Denmark.

    My commiserations for your loss.
