Geoff Whyham

Dave Whiteman

I thought perhaps that 2024 might be a little better than 2023, but this morning I heard the sad news from Cyprus that another one of ours has passed away. Many of you will know Geoff Whyham and his wife Joyce, who retired to Cyprus after a long career in the Photographic trade. After surviving a prostate cancer scare just a few years ago, he developed an aggressive brain tumour just before Christmas and passed away this morning. I have passed on condolences from the trade in general, more details will follow. RIP Geoff.

RIP Bubbles m8. Was also with Dave Read, Chris Twiner & Geoff Whyham on the G course back in 74, & also at Northolt, so long ago. Met up with Geoff & Joyce only back in 2019 in Limassol after 40 years. Why is it only the good die young!!!

This is such sad news to hear. Geoff was on my G course and we were at Northolt together for a short while in ‘74. We met up again when he invited me over to visit his fabulous villa in Cyprus whilst I was on the Island…. and in true military style we carried on where we left off from 35 years before.
A truly lovely guy and My deepest, sincere condolences to Joyce.
RIP my friend
