It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Iain Lowe, of Dalgety Bay, formerly of St Andrews and, before that, various RAF postings. Beloved husband of the late Muriel, much-loved father of Chris, dear father-in-law of Gina, and grandfather to Elizabeth and Jonathan. Iain passed away on 3rd June 2026 at Victoria Hospice, Kirkcaldy, Fife, following a courageous battle with cancer. He is now at peace in God’s care, reunited with Muriel.
A funeral service and celebration of Iain’s life will be held on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at 10:00 am at Fife: Forthview Parish Church Dalgety followed by Hillend Cemetery at 11.00 am. This will be an opportunity to celebrate Iain’s life, the love and happiness he shared with Muriel, and the lasting impact of his work, kindness, and friendship. All who knew him are warmly invited to join us.
