In the process of moving house, and going through the many old photos I have found this one. What a great CO Gordon Ashman was. I think we used to say that the LS&GC gong recognised ’18 years of undetected crime’. I’m saying nothing. I also remember that Andy Crilly (RIP you great guy) got his before me even though I’d served longer. I withstood a good few weeks of piss-taking before mine eventually arrived. Great days.
