Such very sad news. Al was a really likeable bloke who could be relied upon to make every situation fun. He pushed the boundaries but at all times that I knew him, he was amusing and raised the atmosphere in any sombre day. He will be so sorely missed by all who knew him well. So sad. RIP Al.
A couple of years ago three of us were going Skiing to France, we were coming up to the passport checks at the tunnel. Al was driving and dressed in a waistcoat with a Cravat and a beard like a cavalier. Let’s play it cool so we don’t get delayed, the guy comes across “passports please” he looks at the three passports, names please, Dave in the back gives his name, I give mine, Al announces his name “ good morning, my name is Lord Alan Marsh!” , lol That was Al! Crazy and funny, unpredictable and definitely unforgettable! RIP my freind
What an amazing guy Al was. A good friend, a fantastic laugh and a top top bloke and photog! Another bar stool taken at the Snoopys Bar in the sky! You will be sorely missed! RiP Thoughts to the family.
