Jean Meldrum has just posted me on Messenger to say that her husband, Doug, passed away on Monday night (13 April 2026). Another one lost to the great darkroom in the sky. A good friend gone.

Worked with Doug at JARIC(NE) in early 70s and socially knew both him and Jean. Mainly in Episkopi Kart Racing Club, they were a great couple in the Club. Remember Doug deep in thought puffing away on his pipe. Another really sad loss. Sincere condolences to Jean, family and immediate friends. RIP Doug.
